A guy in the city that i live in was working for a furniture company and one day last week while he was doing his deliveries he learned that he had purchased the winning lotto ticket and was the winner of 40 million dollars (true story) anyway, he parked the truck and left it without finishing the deliveries and everybody is talking about how he should have finished the job. What do you think?

In his situation now, he can do whatever he wants to. However, if it had been me, I would have finished the deliveries as fast as I could and then said goodbye to the job and celebrated.

I think he should have finished the job. Having 40 million doesn't make other people's furniture appear magically. He could have gotten someone else to finish for him, at least. It's a obligation he made; his dependabilty is on the line and winning the lottery isn't like an emergency that has to be attended to immediately.

He should have finished. You never burn your bridges. What happens if he blows all that money and needs his job back?

On the other hand, how often do you win 40 million dollars?

He should have called the office and explained he couldn't finish his deliveries.

He should have at least notified his company so they could come get the truck and finish his route.

He could have at least taken the truck back to the store, so someone else could have finished his deliveries..................
