hmm all depends on you and your skill level...anyone can learn a backhand spring. if you keep on working at it(maybe with a spot) for a few of them you'll get it! I started a year ago and i already am in level 5 competitive gymnastics. Just work hard and try your best! Go for it! I learned to do one by myself when my coach was talking to the gym owner i wanted to do it myself and i was like hey i don't want a spot! So i went for and everyone started clapping! Just try you'll get it soon!

For me,it only took me 13 days to learn it. i practiced 1 and 1/2 hours a day. For you it might be different. Make sure oyou have a spotter to help you though. Dont start your backhand springs on the tramp. because you might get a bit afraid when you go to do it on the floor.

Well, It depends on your coach...and If you're scared like I am it'll probably take a long time!! I've been going for three years now, I still don't have it...But I don't want to, because I'm too scared to do it, and I don't like my coach because she spots me wrong!! lol Hope I helped!!
