i own a repair shop,and these engines will turn around 2000 to 2300 depending on the road its on,and if any hills are involved,,this is the usual,,on a real good road,around 21-2200 should be normal for it,,good luck,i hope this help,s..have a good x-mas.

It truly depnds on the gearing to include the transmission, differential and tire size. On a totally stock GM, roughly: sedan-2100, sport car/truck-2200
