Just listen to her. If she continues to brag, I would change the conversation. Talk about other stuff. Poor girl.. she's probably very deprived and bragging is the only way to make her feel good. My best friend used to brag about so much. She'd call me on Christmas morning to brag about her gifts. Then, I used to add more things. That used to shut her up.

I wouldn't pay so much attention to her bragging. She probably compares her lifestyle with yours and maybe she feels insecure about that.

If you notice she repeats the same things over and over again, you simply tell her, "yes, (her name) you've already told me." Maybe she'll get the picture later on.

girl i can relate to your ? because i have a friend that is the same way. I really never knew what to say to my friend either and now we are not as close because i hated being around her, but i kinda of look back and wish i had of been straight forward and just came out and told her you know you are constantly bragging and all that is not necessary, people are going to see you for you not what you have. just talk to her because it is not cool to break up a friendship for something so petty just tell her and let her know you dont want to break up yall friendship and that its frustrating

Your friend is bragging about herself because she is insecure! If she was confident she wouldn't need to boast. You should find a way to tell her how wonderful she is and that you worry how she is coming across to other people.

You can simply tell her in a god way. But the truth would be very good for your bestfriend and yall relationship. It's not never good to keep things from your bestfriend. Especially if you know it will help them later in life. So you need to tell her ASAP.

I think she has some attention issues. Just pretend to be vaguely interested whenever she brags, but don't show real interest. If she asks you about it, just tell her that you're tired of hearing her go on and on about all of her stuff. That should work.

Hey, I know how you feel just sit her down. And when she does just be like I don't wont to hurt your feelings or whatever but I feel Blah Blah. The she should understand if she is a real friend.

I think you should just tell her straight forward and tell her you don't want to loose her friendship, its just somthing that you thought you should tell her (being that you are her friend.)

Is that what you do to your friends? Try and fix their every defect? How do you think they like that? Are you perfect? Sorry to answer a question with a question, but think about it.

If you are friends then you should be honest with her that's what friends do. Be sensitive to the situation she may not realize how she is affecting others.
