No, not everything in life have to be a compromise.

Your values and beliefs should not be compromised.

Your point of view/ego can be a little less rigid (compromise) especially if you want to please someone special and you are not undermining your values at the same time.

Since it's impossible to meet someone who has identical charactheristics to you in all things (values and beliefs including) then you will most probably have to compromise at some point in time.

If you never compromise then I am pretty sure the relationship will come to an end sooner or later.

Remember, even though compromising can carry a negative connotation some times it is actually a pleasant thing to do. :)

Hope this answered your question. ;)

No I don´t think that everything should be a compromise respect to others. It seems so, because we as humans put the sense of compromise in all that we do or ask to be done by others.

For example, if you enjoy to do what you really want to do in your life, the compromise exists just in your mind with yourself (because you feel that you have to fulfill your needings), but with the rest of the world there is no compromise at all.

Good luck!

A KEY to a peaceful existence certainly is Acceptance and Tolerance, while compromise, as long as it doesn't "degrade" us can be, might have to be, part of the process.

A minor example that may not cause serious revolt might be...

YOU step up to a vending machine. YOU have a soft drink in mind, perhaps to quench a very real thirst? You press your money into the machine, then the "button" for the choice you prefer. An alert notes you, "Sold Out".... Therein you are confronted, maybe even conflicted? "Hmmm, do I continue to thirst? OR do I compromise what I "wanted" for what will accomplish the BASE of what I wanted?"

A shallow analogy perhaps, but valid to the extreme.

Does everything in life have to be a compromise?
Ans:
No....
The sun shines across the earth
Spinning the life that revolves around it
The wind blows from the east
Breathing life into tis’ bosom

We celebrate love and giving
Forgiving the darkness seen by the sun
A new consciousness rises across the sky
Shining brightly in the new dawn

The reflections of the year come upon us
The waves of our insights ride upon their crests
Light shows the way to healing
All life by the great healer known as time

The eagles soar in the skies
Welcoming the new age of peace
Time and tide continue their passage
Untouched by the breath of life

The New Year comes upon the earth
Celebrating the light of our reflections
The sun reaches its zenith
Illuminating the wonder we call life

Where people are concerned, its a minefield the best you can do is stick to your guns where your ethics or morals or just plain rights or wrongs for you, are concerned provided they`re sound in the first place, otherwise you end up with lasting regrets. as to wants or don`t wants well it`s pretty much compromise all the way. or you could just become a hermit in which case it`ll just be plain old life itself that throws bricks at you.

Compromise is a choice. You can certainly refuse to compromise, but I imagine that would make you a very unpopular person. Or very popular, depending on what you refused to compromise on.

Compromise is the root of society. You have no more/less rights than anybody else.

I think so.
Without compromises you will end up like me; angry, mad, negative, complaining, judgmental, anxious and wreck all the time.....
I think compromise is needed in our life to allow us accept imperfections around us.
