As the old theory goes, there are two ways to look at things: Classic and Romantic view. Romantic being the surface, Classic being the underlying. I am definitely the Classic, metaphysical thinker. I can't help but read between the lines.

I accept what is before me and then analyze everything after and get all upset that I didn't read between the lines in the first place.

I am such a straightforward person, it's hard for me to read between the lines. I tend to take everything at face value, and have people fill me in on the rest.
