We always give our golden retriever a few slices of turkey with a bit of gravy as a treat on Christmas day.

We share special meals with the cats and the dog. Be sure o be very careful though if you are giving the animals something new. I recently found this out the hard way when giving my dog some lamb and the lamb shank bone. She ended up with diarrhea for a day and I had a few messes in the house. Try them out with small portions first to be safe.

Cats love the neck of the turkey. There is also a lot of meat that is never used on the bird, so cut it away from under the bird and share a little. Be sure not to give bird bones to a dog though as they are hollow and will splinter in the dogs mouth leaving bone shards that could tear or puncture the digestive tract.

i replaced into going to say 'provided that you've him as a centred visitor', yet you beat me to it. I keep in concepts at the same time as i replaced into 6, my Gran raised pigs and chickens. We sat all the way down to eat our dinner and my Dad reported, 'effective little bit of purple meat, your Joey' I realised then that we were eating the piglet I had befriended and named Joey. till that aspect i somewhat hadn't given a lot idea to the position meat got here from, yet I with out delay grew to change right into a vegetarian. nevertheless am, too. i'm particular your turkey pal will appreciate his Christmas dinner, with some extra vegetables and particular treats. chuffed Christmas. Mwah :-)

He likes turkey so he has turkey or ham with us. I do not give him the other stuff but he does have meat and treats and then some dry food as well.

Oh, and he gets Ice Cream.

Of course! When you buy a tukey they usually put the gizzards (heart, liver etc.) inside of the turkey in a bag. If you take all that nasty stuff and boil them in a pot for about an hour or so, it's a perfect treat for your pet! I do it every year and my pets just love that stuff!

No, my cats hate human food, but we have a pet fox and she gets all the skin, the fat and the bones plus the children's left overs. She must like them because she comes back regularly and she sits patiently at the top of the garden waiting to be served.

The dogs get people food only once a year, for Thanksgiving.

Kibbles, warm turkey, a dollop of warm mashed potatoes, a dollop of warm dressing, and a dollop of warm turkey gravy.

They LOVE it.

They get some plain poached chicken as a treat. Not really Christmas dinner, but they love it.

What a daft question. Do you think they grey thing here deserves anything less?
Maia and her kid sister love turkey and trimmings. (Although this year Christmas dinner will be later as on the day I'm doing curry instead!)

Afraid not, I'm never at home for Christmas dinner. But if I was I probably would yes.

NO!! I never give my pet Christmas Dinner. My pet jackass is a member of the ACLU, he would be most offended if I ever did that!
