CONGRATS Liberals - First of all I asked for 'celebrities that Republicans look to for advice', not Republican celebrities . Secondly, and this is the most amazing one, secondly Arnold is a Governor, Reagan was the PRESIDENT, and Fred Thompson was a SENATOR . Congrats for scoring a zero !!

There are many Hollywood Stars that are republican, but they don't get out and make an a$$ of themselves like the Liberals.

It's hard for Republicans to run against Hollywood, a useful political tactic, when they cozy up to Hollywood celebs, so they often do it very discreetly. Contrary to popular opinion, there are quite a few right-wingers in the business, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, and Tom Selleck are just three.

There are a few Hollywood Republicans believe it or not. Bruce Willis and Fred Thompson come to mind. Most Hollywood conservatives don't make much noise because they are in hostile territory.

Think the first answer says it all.Republicans don't simply listen to them but elect them as their leaders and use their popularity for political gain.
Celebrity or not,they are still American citizens and as such entitled to express their opinion.That more people listen to them is a fact but that doesn't change their constitutional right to free speech.

Gross generalization. Personally, I could give a hoot what celebrities have to say about politics. If they wish to be political, they should become politicians, then I would afford them the same attention as I do actual politicians.
