I just went to answer the door (it was my sister, you nosey buggers) and the door handle hooked on my sleeve and yanked me back about 5 feet.

Perhaps it agrees with me - she should get a bloody key !!!

God yeah, i managed to do that in the gym every time i go, you would think i would learn to hold my gym bag handle more closely to me but nope it still happens. Getting quite embarrassing now. At home i always also seem to get my rings stuck on the end of the handle, bend them all out of shape and nearly yank my finger off each time.

YES! Just yesterday, I was casually walking into the bathroom, half asleep, and found myself being yanked back before I got there by the bathroom door handle! Cheeky bugger grabbed me by my belt! It was so fast, it made me hit my head on the door frame.
The shock actually made me think I was going to die- I saw my life flash before my eyes and everything.... next time I went to the bathroom I crept up on it and kicked it!

Oh yes! Moved into new house and the bedroom door handle kept smacking me in the arm in the same place! Had a massive bruise there for more than a month because it just wouldn't give up!

Yes I hate that. Even when I walk past cabinet doors and drawer knobs. The darn things seem to reach out and grab me just when I am trying to look cool.

Once I was at the mall and carrying my newborn son. It happened at the entrance and I nearly dropped the poor lad.

After quite a long uncontrollable laughing spell my wife was finally able to take our son and carry him the rest of the day.

A long time ago! I was visiting my friend across the street who had a german shepard. I was trying to get in her screen door and he was trying to get out. I pulled the door across my foot when I had on flip flops and I ended up having to get 5 stitches.
Stupid dog! He used to chase me and bite me in the butt!

(and yes - get her a bloody key!!)

No, but I have been assaulted by my own hands...When i was 14 i was jumping up and palming the ceiling and one time i missed and when my hand came down I hit myself right on the mommy and daddy button...I was on the floor in agony for about 5 minutes trying to breathe again.

Yes! Door handles seem to attack me most of the time, but my mother's bed always attacks my knees. I don't think inanimate objects are inanimate at all. Anything with molecules has to move!

I once ran across a landing and jumped into the bathroom at the end.
The top of the door frame stopped me dead.
There was blood everywhere.

Damn door.
