I'm recently out of a 10 year relationship with an abusive (but hot) husband who controlled me fully. Without him, I feel relieved....I'm ready to date and have met a couple people, but I'm all nervous. I forgot how to flirt and have fun! What's the secret to not blowing it with a real man?

I remember feeling that way after my divorce. It's an old saying but true...it takes time. Just be yourself and try to enjoy the moment. Don't jump into another relationship too soon. You need to just be yourself and enjoy your freedom for awhile. Get to know your true self again after coming out of an abusive relationship.

Just be yourself. It's understandable to be nervous after being in a 10 yr. relationship. Relax, be yourself, and everything will come back to you. You haven't lost your groove...it's just been dormant for a little while.

Just be yourself. If you tell him straight up about your position (not all of the gory details i.e. hotness), then he should understand. If not, there are plenty of more understanding guys out there.

Pratice makes perfect......just give it time....you'll get your groove back. Just don't get attached to anyone to fast....just have fun.
