An entrepreneur is a person who sees a marketing opportunity and takes advantage of it.
Some say it is a gift, although you can teach yourself how to be one.
YOu need drive and determination to make it work

An Entrepreneur is usually someone who sees themselves as a "pioneer" of sorts...who does not wish to, nor care to, work for someone else. They usually have strong leadership skills, very keen insight and although they take into consideration the amount of hard work involved to see something come to fruitation, they usually aren't bothered by that aspect.
Entrepreneurs are many times very driven individuals, they have great amounts of energy and tons of ideas (sometimes too many). They can envision how something will come together long before it is actually implemented. They usually have a number of talents or at least one very prominent one that they strongly feel will be a formula for success.
Anyone can be an entrepreneur...however, it is those that have the instincts, that will become the successful ones. A child who asks to have a paper route...is an entrepreneur, one who sets up a lemonade stand is an entrepreneur.
Many times entrepreneurship is part of a persons history...in my family almost every single aunt/uncle, grandparent, cousin etc was/is an entrepreneur. This doesn't necessarily mean there is a prerequisite to be one nor does it mean that as one, the chances of success are any greater...it simply means that there is a long line of people who had/have the drive to be their own boss and that is one of the main keys in becoming and continuing as an entrepreneur.
Anyone who thinks they want to try entrepreneurship need only investigate the possibilities, accept the fact that it takes hard work and a will and interest to learn about things you may know nothing about in the beginning...it also means that you never ever give up on your dream to be who you want to be. If one type of entrepreneurship doesn't work out...that doesn't mean it's over...it simply means that route wasn't the correct one for you. There are many, many ways to become an entrepreneur...the first step however is deciding whether or not you really wish to be one and then going for it...armed with drive, conviction, knowledge and the will to do what it takes to become successful in something that you have the opportunity to build from the ground up or by taking over from where someone else left off. A good entrepreneur is a prepared one...so if one is afraid of research, digging in to find solutions, working around roadblocks...the road to entrepreneurship will likely be more demanding but not impossible.
If this is for you...good luck, it can be the most rewarding, exhilarating experience going, but it can also be the most frustrating, annoying and ego deflating things as well...it's all in how you look at it...glass half full or half empty :)

Entrepreneur is one, who ventures out on his own conducting business for the benefit of the society at large, in general, while making money on the way. A natural risk taker with an ability to foresee things, and base his judgments and decision on facts, prudent reasoning while applying common sense all the time, makes a successful entrepreneur. Most of these qualities can be built with perseverance and consciously working them out.
A bit of luck, makes you a millionaire or a billionaire.

They are not just born as entrepreneurs. Yes, it is true that it is not for everyone, but nobody should let anyone else tell them that it is not right for them. A person does need to seek advise and do a candid inventory of their skills and personality to determine likelihood of success though.
With the right desire, most people can become entrepreneurs.

I think like any profession it takes training to be an entreprenuer. People seem like natural entrepreneurs because their parents were ones and they taught their children to become one. I think most people can be one if they retrain themselves and surrender the "employee mindset".
The only people who would have trouble are those who are extremely shy, unmotivated, and tend to give up easily.

It is someone of some wealth who invests their money in businesses, rather than actually works at something. Wealth can come at birth or be earned. Trump wasn't born rich but he is one. As is Bill Gates.
