Can't say it happens all the time, but it certainly isn't totally uncommon to feel the way you feel. You may be psychologically punishing yourself about the fact that you don't have a boyfriend.
If you are beautiful, healthy, confident, and independent financially, you should not have a problem finding that right person in your life. Actually, you may be doing the right thing by not rushing into anyone, just because you should have a bf.
Usually talking to someone and just openly discussing how you feel about things can help a lot. Feel free to email/IM me if you'd like. Nothing like expressing yourself to someone that you don't have to worry about consequences. Good luck.

If u feel sad, there's a reason. Everything has an explanation. I doubt the reason for you being sad is biological, since i don't believe in chronical sadness or whatever phychiatrits may want to call it. So if i were you I'd try to find when I started feeling that way and why it happened.
There was a time when i thought exactly like you, which is, i didn't manage to see a reason for my sadness, everything was so good, but after doing some serious thought (which took many time and practice) i could always determine where the sadness came from. And the reasons for it were always logical and understandable.
Good work ;)

During the Christmas Holidays alot of people get depressed and feel down and out. If it continues after the Holidays then go tell your docter. Maybe you yearn for someone to hold you close and share in the Merry activities at this time of year? Go to the Malls and sit on one of their benches with a cool beverage and look at all the people walk by. It will amaze you. Is your biological clock ticking? That can do it too if your a female?

We all get "down" at times, for NO apparent reason. It's nothing to worry about, unless it persists for an extended period of time, in which case you need to talk to a doctor. Go out and have a cup of coffee.......it does wonders for the "blues"! By the way, there could be a guy there, just waiting to meet you...now, go have that cup of coffee! Good Luck!!

The holidays are known to get people down for no apparent reason...I get down and I have everything going in my direction. I'm married, have a wonderful family, all that jazz. But still, once and awhile I just get down. Holidays are worse. Surround yourself with loving friends and kick those blues!

Sure it happens to us all. As the holidays approach we can feel alone if we don't have a special someone to share it with, also the weather plays a part.

There is nothing you call "for no reason". these might be accummulated problems that bended in your subconscious without getting rid of it. One time it appears on you with out apparent reason. Communicate with others and get out of your loneliness.

Maybe a hormonal thing? I get down sometimes although I love my life. Relax and I am sure it will pass.
