Asda - my mother works there and gets 10% off everything which helps, but I've always found it cheaper than Tescos, and the quality is just as good, if not better clothes-wise (I have had a look at the items at Tesco and am not impressed, but do own a large amount of George clothing).

Generally Tesco, because the stores are better laid out and the overall standard of produce is of a reasonably high quality. Own brand labelled items pretty good. Asda, overall, tends to be cheaper, in my very humble opinion. Not saying their own brand produce is not good, it's just not as good, in my view, as Tesco's.

Asda are not so good since Wal-mart stepped in, shame really because Wal-Mart are fantastic in the USA and Canada, it,s possible to buy cars in supermarkets or Hypermarkets, I cant fault Asda,s clothing and footware, Tesco on the other hand, perhaps a tad cheaper, similar quality, staff not as friendly, only my very humble opinion, quess it depends on what and when and how much your prepared to pay

Tesco's......... by far..... their customer service is far superior.. and have you ever gone through all the bull sh*t to get Photo's developed in Asda?... providing you only want a small amount, because they wont do alot... in Tesco's you can actually speak to a human being, and just tell them what you want.... any amount

the Asda staff are ignorant COMPARED to the Tesco staff

Tesco - much wider selection of everything. Open all hours everywhere - Tesco Metro is brilliant. (ps. I really don't mean to be rude, but are the staff in Sainsbury's a bit..er..below par, or is it just me?).
