Dont go! I went to Cyprus (Limmasol) in February and it was awful! The worst holiday I have ever had) My dad and sister have both been at different time of the year and loved it so I really do think it's down to the time of year you go.

We did go on a number of trips, a jeep safari to the trudos mountains, which was great and a trip to see some architecture etc. (can't even remember where it was soooo boring!) We booked those with the tour operator. Be careful as you can get ripped off.

There was nothing open, so very limited choice of restaurants all of which that we went to were poor (they even tried to convince us that the fish we ordered was sea bass when it cleary wasn't!) The bars were mostly closed and the ones that were open were over priced.

This is just my personal experience and I haven't stayed in Paphos so you may enjoy it. I went with my husband, I'm in my late 20's and he in his 30's but the rest of the people there were in their 50's or over, I'm not sure how old you are but if you don't do OAP Karaoke i would suggest a change of destination!

I sincerely hope you have a better time than we did good luck!

Cyprus in the winter is not too much fun for tourists that look for summer activities. The country side is at its best. For fun and clubbing find where the cypriots are. The clubs that cypriots go are more busy in the winter especially around xmas as 1000's of college students return from abroad for the holidays. There countless of pubs, bars and clubs both in Limassol and Nicosia. But don't expect to find neon color clothed tourists. Try find restaurants that Cypriots go to and not the fries with everything restaurants that catered to the tourist in summer. Personally I hate organised trips and I think you will enjoy the island better by doing it independently.

Was there last November. We did a jeep trip into the Troodos mountains, a hot-air balloon trip, and a day-trip to Cairo. There were loads of options on offer, so you will not be stuck for something to do. Cyprus thrives with British tourists all year round, and provides excursions accordingly.

Hello , i hope you enjoy your holidays in Cyprus. I believe that you should visit Limassol. Limassol is not boring and there some really nice hotels and nice restaurants and especially on Christmas day you can attend a really good night out, where limassol has really nice cafes and restaurants in the tourist area.
