Hi, I would like to know in US, is it possible to make a living with four million US dollars, for about 40 years from now, including supporting a family of four.
I am just curious!

You can probably take out about $160,000/year (adjusted for inflation) and never run out of money. Enough to live in most places in the country except the large cities.

40 years from now dollars will not exist, it will be a valueless coin.

As we speak, your dollars are devaluating: search the web for "peak oil"
