I don't think so either... I have to admit that things didn't go Pardew's way anymore that's why I'm not disappointed with the team's decision to have him replaced by one who's not bad either.

Curb impressed me for the first time at Charlton earlier in the begining of last season then put himself down by dropping the right job he had to try become the England manager which didn't work, thank God.

I'm not a West Ham fan but I really wish him good luck as I like to see +- 15 teams in the premiership doing well in order to make things more interesting.

Tchao!

They are similair in many ways, However being a WHUFC fan the only thing that worries me is that any West Ham manager given a serious amount of money is akin to letting a five year old loose in a gun shop.

Lets be honest we are not renown for our great money buys, pick someone up on the cheap or even better free, bang they are half decent, pay cash and they are normally shocking.

The real focus will now come on the players. Carroll, Gabbidon, Konchesky, Ethrington, Reo Coker, Benayoun, Harewood & Zamora, have been down right Shite all season, no where near the level that they where at last season, and as for the Two Argentinians, well being spurs so called "feeder club" they have got to be worth a couple of Mil somewhere. If not Jose if you are reading this, better value then Schevchenko !!!

The main things that Curbs needs to do is avoid relegation, we cannot go through that again. although not an easy game against the Mancs on Sunday but you never know.

In short, he is the best option around at the moment, and at least we did not get Sven Gormless Ericson

He's more experienced...but i don't think it's fair to compare them...when Curbs was at Charlton he had a fairly easy job cos nobody really expects much from Charlton...but he did a great job anyway!

west ham are a bigger, more successful club,so they expect more...but i dont think Pardew was given long enough,,,and the new chairman seems to be a bit of a joke!but i wish them well... i like both managers and i hope pardew gets a decent job soon and proves west ham wrong!

I like Pardew a lot, he did great for us (West Ham) but Mancini has had bigger job's and won more.... It's all about statistics and trophies. If you say Pardew is better thats personal preference where as Mancini's has the trophies to back him up. Put it this way out of the two who is more likely to Manage Real Madrid? Obviously the better qualified manager... Mancini. Although I prefer Pardew who hasn't been given a big job tbh

Without a doubt he is much better than Pardew. He took Charlton to the top half of the table with very little money. Look where they are without him. He will do the same with West Ham, i would have to say that the current West Ham team is better than the Charlton team he managed last season so i expect them to be in the top half of the table come May.

only time will tell. but i think they way they blamed pardew for the whole teams failing is a bit rich considering it isnt him that goes out onto that pitch and plays 90 mins of football every match. Maybe if the players had to play well to earn their ridiculous wages west ham would have won a lot more matches. A manager can only do so much.

Curbishley is a top manager. The length of time he stayed at Charlton shows that. West Ham are very lucky to get him.
