They say it's not what people tell you that you believe, it's what you tell yourself. With this in mind, I made an affirmation tape in my own voice, telling me I was beautiful and creative and smart and responsible, etc (3 pages worth). I listened to this tape in my headset twice a day (sometimes more when I had a bad day) and it made an amazing difference in my thinking and my behavior. I believe it saved my sanity and my life.

Practice Mindfulness Meditation for 15 min a day, and also Loving-kindness Meditations toward oneself and others for 10 min. a day.
These two type of simple meditation Highly
build up ones self image and self-esteem, also improves one's memory, concentration, and increases Cognitive Thinking in the brain (according to Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD).
Mindfulness Meditation also develops Patience, and helps one conquer anger and hatred. It helps one deal effectively with anxiety, depression, worries, and many other negative thoughts (mind-sets) and other negative emotions.
Just type in Mindfulness Meditation and later Loving-kindness Meditation in the search field
in your computer. And spend 10 min or so, learning how to Meditate in these 2 ways.

do you mean self esteem or self worth. no one in my opinion has a problem esteeming themselves higher than others. and that might be why theyve lost self worth. i would suggest helping and caring for others as a way to gain more self worth. as for self esteem what good does it do to walk around thinking about how great you are.
