nope. I think its silly to be afraid or something like that.

Not exactly scared, just nervous. When I was in kindergarten our school was across the street from a small store and during the morning around Halloween we saw a bunch of police cars pull up and surround this store. Our whole class stood up and lined the window watching this scene. Suddenly from inside the store emerged a man dressed in a full clown suit (a homemade one and not a really well-made one at that) complete with face make-up. He had his hands up and had a paper bag in his hand. He started walking towards a police car and suddenly reached into the bag and started to produce something and about four or five police shot him dead right in front of an entire classroom filled with kindergarten kids. It was right out of an Adam Sandler movie except it really happened. Since that day I have been understandably nervous about clowns.

My wife isn't actually frightened of clowns, but is terrified of the Gorilla in the Comedy Bands in Street Parades/Carnivals!!

NO, I am not frightened of clowns...
BUT My Mom used to have clowns all around the house and THAT did scare me!

To me, clowns look like Pennywise from the Steven King novel and subsequent movie "It". And I've felt this way LONG before King ever wrote his novel. When I read it, it just reaffirmed my opinion of clowns.

I Hate Those Ornamental clowns they are super scary!!!
regular clowns not so much

yes and i think it has somthing to do with a scarey man who had clown hair who lived next door when i was a kid,he was old and smelt really bad.at 9 years old this is a very scary thing!

no... i am a professional clown btw.. my whole family is.. we usually go to the hospitals and visit with the cancer patients.. its rewarding...people shouldnt be afraid of clowns based on a tardo' movie about them.. some are afraid just because.. and thats okay... im scared of dark water.. ughew....

When I was little, clowns scared the crap out of me. I hated circuses. But, as I've grown older they still creep me out, but they don't have the same effect on me!!
