A great friend is someone that's always there for you no matter what. Who is non-judgemental. A great friend is someone who knows you and still likes you anyway.

I know a friend is a great friend when you are down and you need someone to talk to they are right there for you every step of the way telling you that you will make it through any obstacle that may pass them!!!

you know if your friend is a great friend if they stand by u and understand the things you do and accept them...also they say that a friend is the one that bails you out of jail but a true friend is sitting beside you saying that was fun....
