We will be taking the quarters to a casino, so they can't be glued down. It's for my father in law who is a HUGE Univ. of Kansas fan.
Clever, crafty, easy ideas??

Get a photo album and place several quarters on each page. Next to each quarter insert a strip of paper that states something significant or interesting that happened in Jayhawks history for each year of his life , i.e. 1957 - Jayhawks finish runner-up to Indiana in NCAA title game, 1958 - Wilt Chamberlain leaves Jayhawks after the '58 season, 1959- Jayhawks win men's outdoor track national champions, and so on until '06 or '07, depending on his birthdate .

put them in a big jar wraped in Kansas colors with a note telling them where you are going to spend them
make it like a recipe or something

or hide them not individually but in groups and let him find them in a kind of clue game that ends in the car on the way to the casino

A roll of quarters fits nicely in a condom. Then you could decorate the condom with beads or put a U of K symbol on it.
Someone did this for me, but put a sports doll head on the end.
