You could always make something for the couple. Christmas ornaments are a nice idea... festive and they keep them forever.

A six year old boy is easy to buy for .... any remote control car or game for his ps2 or clothes or anything will make him happy.

If you have a Dollar General in your area head there for the 6 year old they have some really neat inexpensive gifts...like a lot of video games, toys that make sounds...art sets, etc. And for the ladies get driving gloves something they will use all the rest of the winter or a nice candle....for the men, a gift certificate at a local breakfast shop or coffee like Starbucks, or driving gloves for them. The most used present I received last year were driving gloves and when I had to go out in the cold I was so glad to have them and thought about the person that gave them to me..

For the in-laws I would get a Christmas ornament or some kind of Christmas decoration. It is usefull and you can probably find something cheap. For a 6 year old boy I might get some matchbox cars. My family always gets stuff for Toys for Tots every year and try to spend $10 on each gift. You can find some great stuff for $10. Like we got a whole box of 10 matchbox cars. Or maybe some kind of action figure.

For the 6 year old.. They have lots of action figures out right now that are cheap.. Star Wars, Avitar, Ben 10, Sigma 6, etc. Also, G.I. Joe's/Army men are always a great gift, and very inexpensive, for any young boy. My b/f has two boys, 4 & 6, and they rock the army men for hours on end.

I had the same problem!! Except I had a little girl to shop for and in laws. GO TO WAL-MART. They have all sorts og cheap gift packages, everything from toys for kids to great little things like coffee cups with different sorts of coffee, or they even have slippers that have massagers in them! That would be great for an in law. Just go there and browse and see what you can find. Another good place would be Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I love that store. Good Luck!!!

For the 6 year old, buy a christmas stocking (not too big) and fill it with lots of bits and pieces like balloons, chocolates, toy cars, planes, colouring books, a santa hat etc etc. You can also use bits and peices that would go into party bags.

I've just finished doing this for my nephews!
