Heres a good online RPG game. Its a multiplayer game too.
Its called Zeus' Legacy.
Free,fun,worthwhile,and non-download.

If you've got time to kill, try Runescape, but I quit that after 2 years. I'm playing Space Cowboy, FLYFF, Risk Your Life 2: Incomplete Union, and Soldat(Although Soldat isn't an MMORPG). Gunz is good too. Heck, I'm very avid, and onrpg.net(hope I got the name right) has a gargantuan list of rpgs... not sure how many of them are MUDs, though.

I downloaded a trial for everquest from the sony site. It only works up to level 14, but it was fun for a weeks worth of time wasting :)
