Why is it too much to ask my husband to help out??

I just want my husband to help a little in with our kids. Every morning I get up and get them ready while he takes a 1/2 hour shower. Then I drive them to school. I pick them up after I get off work and take them home, give them a bath, make dinner, make there lunches for the next day and put them to bed. Sure he plays with them in between but I feel like I am a single parent? And when I talk to him about it he says, what do you want me to do get up early?? I'm so frusterated! I get up at 6:30 and I don't have to be to work until 8:15 just so I get everything ready, why doesn't he see that?

He's selfish and thinks that he's the man, so he should HAVE to do the "woman" jobs! I say F*** THAT!!! H'es in a partnership with you, and it's just as much his responsibility!!! And I SOOO agree with the person who said to stop doing his laundry and cooking him dinner!!!

Your husband is just plain lazy and wants you to do all the work. Both parents need to help with the house and the kids when both work outside the home. If your guy doesn't shape up, you probably would be better off being a single parent and living without him.

If I were in your shoes I would continue doing all that stuff for the kids but don't do his laundry, make his dinner or anything else for him. When he eventually asks why you can say that you don't have time to do his stuff as well as yours and the kids.

And, when he wants sex just say you are too tired. That should get the point across!
