Stick with Explorer 6, 7 is slower, but do yourself a favor get Firefox, it has had the improvements of 7 for the last three years is stable faster and more secure. 7 is slower, and on your computer it would not be wise.
Your info does not give the hard drive so I cant tell you if you have enough room or not, however Firefox only takes up 5 mb instead of 30mb for explorer 7.

The processor is a little slow, but space depends on your hard drive. Go to My Computer and right click your hard drive (usually C:) and go to Properties. There will be a pie chard telling you the amount of free space you have. You will probably have enough.

Hm to see that go to My computer, then click with mouse right button on Hard disk, or Local Disk and go to properties. There's your free and used space. I think 40 Mb of free space should be enough.
