Generally, fuel sending units are not bench repairable. In some cases a remanufacturer may refurbish your sending unit after you replace it, but in most cases it's just trash.
Call your local auto parts store for pricing on a new one. If you don't have the skills or know-how or if your vehicle is still under warranty, have the work done by a reputable shop or by the dealer.

i own a repair shop,and basically they cant be repaired,,you always use a new one when dealing with those things,,besides there not that expensive to replace,,that's what i always do,its too much trouble to take the tank down ,and then have to do it again,,always buy new when it comes to this part,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
