I just bought the car and i also want to service the transmition so i also would like to know what type or transmition oil i should use, and how to do it.

For the oil you would use 4 quarts of 5W-30.
For the transmission you will need 3.2 quarts
Whether you have a 5spd or an Auto, you NEED to use Honda ATF/MTF.
You first need to jack the car up on a level surface, You need to find the service/drain bolt. It is located at the rear of the tranny. It is a 17mm bolt. Just have a pan under it for when you loosen it. Take the bolt out and let the fluid drain. Tighten it back up.
Now, if you have an Auto you need Honda ATF,
You need a piece of hose and a funnel. Remove the dipstick from the tranny, and attach the hose to the nipple. Attach the funnel at the other end and pour in two quarts, turn on the car and check fluid level. If you need more then add more.
If it's a 5spd, do the same thing to drain as the auto but to refill it you'll have to find another 17mm bolt that is a little higher than the drain bolt. Use a hose to fill the tranny from there.You'll know when to stop when you can see that the MTF is level with the bottom of threads on the hole.

5w30 is the kind of engine oil use for your car.
Honda ATF-Z1 is the automatic transmission fluid use on your car. Honda MTF is the manual transmission fluid use on your car. These are the only ones compatible to your transmission.
Oil change, the amount of oil is in your owners manual. Make sure you replace the oil filter, and oil plug gasket.
Transmission fluid changes, I have no idea, if the amount of fluid is in the owners manual, but it is in the service manual. Make sure you replace the transmission plug gasket.

Use the viscosity (5W30) that is recommended for your vehicle. I wouldn't use a synthetic with the number of miles that you have, but any brand is going to be good as long as it meet ASE specs, and all oils do.
Same goes for the tranny, too. Although i would advise a synthetic in this case if one is available. try www.amsoil.com for more info on sythetics.

Keep the H22 and put a turbo on it. It will make plenty of power. Enough to where working the suspension will be a higher priority than the engine bc otherwise your just gonna be sitting there spinning the wheels.
