I think global warming. The reason is, despite all the news about terrorism, the chances of you actually suffering in a terrorist attack is still very small. When the effects of global warming are felt, it will affect everyone. And it will not be in a thousand years, it will probably affect our children.

Terrorism... it has happened, continues to happen and will occur into the foreseable future. It is real. And re global warming, 'Christof' above has made some some good points...
Global warming is predicated on not always sound observations and it ignores many factors, and uses computer models which are often suspect. There is a world wide 'snowball effect' appearing as scientists who run university departments on climatology seek funds for their pet projects. Sounds cynical? Well, the recent UN report on Global Warming/Climate Change did some very nefarious fiddling with the 'facts'. Take just three things they did; they took graphs of global warming and CO2 growth for a 450,000 year period, and swapped them around so that global warming was shown to follow an increase in CO2, whereas in fact it was completely the _oppposite_ i.e., global warming _preceded_ CO2 increase! They have also ignored the fact that the sun is at its warmest for decades with an obvious effect on on temperatures world wide. They also cynically ignored the global warming at the
end of the first 1000 years AD. One prominent writer on this subject (D Denning, Univ Oklahoma ) wrote that he received an e-mail from a person working on the UN report which said (quote) 'We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period.' In the later report the MWP had, indeed, disappeared - it was too awkward to leave in since it weakened the global warming argument. So it behoves us all to take the 'expert' view with a trace of cynicism....
Following the UK's incredibly severe winter of 1962/63 'experts' said we were about to enter another ice age. In the 1970s 'experts' told us that we would run out of oil by the late 80s. At around the same time 'experts' told us that the western world would be decimated by HIV/AIDS within a decade or so. And in the 90s UK people were told by 'experts' that Jacob Cruefeldt disease would affect
a huge percentage of the population and that scores would die. Well, none of these things happened, and I suspect that if we were able to live for another 100 or so years, the climate will be the same as it is now.
Surely it is time that those who can put the contrary side of 'global warming' argument were given an opportunity to state their case, but media outlets and government bodies seem reluctant to let them speak. Of course, if such contrary views gained ground, the reasons governments have for imposing so called 'green taxes' on their people would disappear...!

Global Warming. We have an opportunity to stop a terrorist act. Most of us could care less though. Americans are in such a impathetic state all the time. We're just a bunch of scurrilous people that would rather go on doing what's best for ourselves than what's best for the person next to us. Encouragement is totally lacked. Pick up a the trash around your yard, and your neighbors if you have the time. Make an effort to clean up your own neighborhood. Don't just run a beggar off. Give him a dollar and a smile, and a small word of encouragement. That beggar would probably be the first to risk his life in a terrorist situation. Though we could just call them names, and tell them to get a job. Compelling one more negative force of energy in our universe.

Both! We can try to stop terrorist acts and maybe even succeed and it is happening now. But global warming and what might happen because of it may now be out of our hands.
Those that say global warming is a bunch of hog wash might not want to bet their life or others lives on it not happening.
If your house is dirty-clean it up-simple enough idea-doing it is another matter. Our house (earth) is very dirty and needs help from everyone-any fool can see that.

I think global warming because it impacts the planet as a whole, not an isolated group of people reigning terror over another group of people.

Global warming is terrorism from nature or even from our selves. SO BOTH OF THEM!
Terrorism could kill ONLY 100,000 or more
Global Warming could kill 10 BILLION living species.

Global Warming Terrorist...these skies are falling scientist are leaving out one very major important part. Even if every solitary person and smokestack stops emitting toxic fumes, global warming will still occur. Since they can't control the Earths natural changes they will continue to attempt to control the minds of all of us and force their desired changes upon our systems of life.
