I definitely would. We have had people at our house for Christmas that werent homeless but could not afford to have any sort of Christmas for themselves. We bought gifts for the kids and it didnt feel like we had to do it we felt like it was the right thing to do. People need to help other people not just at Christmas time but at anytime they can.

No. Never invite a stranger into your home!!!! And, hate to say it, but a lot of homeless people are that way because of untreated mental illness, it could be dangerous.
Support your local food provider by giving money, food, and time.

Nope! after all the Katrina folks and their doings, noway!
My friend took in a family, a mom with 4 kids-( Katrina victims)
she went to work one day and came back home to an empty house!
she was an older woman, so she not only lost everything, she had no-one to help her rebuild her life again.... they took EVERYTHING!

There's a homeless guy who sleeps in back of my apartment complex in the bushes, I think that's close enough to my home.
