Cute baby!! get a refrigerated teething ring, some baby Einstein, and music toys, like a mini-piano. Those are my favorites, anyway, and when all the relatives are piling on stuffed animals, it's nice to have some learning toys, too.

I would get "BABY LANGUAGE" cd that was featured on Oprah about a month ago. It teaches what the sounds mean that baby's make. Great way to find out WHY baby is crying.

something that lights up and plays soft music. have you ever thought that maybe a gassy belly is causing the crying? i'd check into switching to a colic reducer bottle. theres another christmas gift idea!! or mylicon gas relief drops?? poor baby; hope he feels better soon.
