Benoit is without a doubt the best skilled wrestler WWE has. The main problem is his mic skills. Of course, Batista sounds like an animal, literally, when he is on the mic, but because he is literally a steriod freak, the fans love him. His in-ring skills are lacking as well.
The general WWE fan prefers big steriod freaks instead of the guy who can actually wrestle. Anyone who is everyone knows that HHH made Batista who he is and keeps pushing him, that is why he is Champ and not Benoit.

Mike J has the right idea. I agree with you. Benoit is the best wrestler the WWE has. The only person today who can compair to his skills is Kurt Angle. But its not that he is too small or that the WWE doesn't see his tallent. It is the fact that he could not draw a crowd. Look at the history. These days you can be the most skilled athlete in the ring but if you don't have the personality, persona, and mic skills, todays fans just won't react. Thanks to the Attitude Era, it is now more focussed on storylines and sports entertainment than it is wrestling. You can't really blame the WWE considering they are just giving what the majority of the fans want. As popular as Benoit is, he generally is seen as a blan wrestler with not as much personality. Its the same reason Dean Malinko never got a big push. People like us just get the shiz end of the stick because we appreciate what true wrestling is all about yet were stuck with wrestlers like Cena, Lashley, and Batista.

the wwe nowadays go with who is hot at the time and are usually given the title which explains batista and john cena's title run's. The wwe have to go with what the fans want and what is felt is good for business. As for chris benoit he had a title run already and it doesnt look like he will be having another one, he may be the best technical wrestler but does he sell out main events? his best time has gone now they should have given him the wwe title when he first came when he was a hot heel with the radicals. Just another waste of talent

I agree with you on that Beniot deserves the Championshiop Belt. Hopefully they will give him that shot at wrestlemanina or a little bit after that. Beniot is the most dangerous person in the WWE and with the most talent. They don't want to give him that show as long as Chavio is in the storyline. Since Rey is injured so bad they need somebody to keep the Eddie feud alive and how about his best friend Beniot, F**King losers. Its time for Beniot to become champion and he would be one of the best champions ever.

Benoit does not necessarily have to be world champion. He is important in the midcard. every match on the card is important. When Benoit was world champ ratings went down that is the reason Randy Orton was rushed into a main event spot and won the world title off him at summerslam

Chris Benoit is my favorite wrestler and i agree to a point because no onee deserves the title but I believe that he deserves a title shot because of how far he has come. I think that he is one of the greatest champions in the world of proffesional wrestling. even if he is just the WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION.

beniot is by far the greatest ring talent in the WWE however he lacks the chaisma on the mic needed to carry the company. He hasnt really improved since his short run after mania 20 so i doubt vince would risk putting the strap on him again any time soon

Nope - gotta disagree with you there mate. I love DX & long may they run but HHH is the man to wear that gold. He has the charisma, attitude, moves & personality. He has the crowd eating out of his hand. Benoit's good but he'll never be a ppl's champ - no personality.

Well i'm biased with him as I know he used to beat his wife so im a bit dubious of his character, but everyone deserves second chances....to an extent. Anyway - I think he is one of few who have really stamina and old-style fierce ability but i don't think he's a very good showmen and wrestling being rather commercial won't really allow that to happen. Shame.

Benoit was champ once. He's has a lot of skill but he's too small. Plus he's getting old and his best days are behind him.
