Lesbian dating is the same as heterosexual dating. You will find good relationships and bad relationships. I have never really had a problem trusting any girl that I date. We usually start off as friends so I basically know what they are like. Yes, you will find lesbian "players", many out there but there are just as many women who are sincere and honest.

Friendship is an in-depth relationship combining trust, support, communication, loyalty, understanding, empathy, and intimacy. Trust and loyalty go hand-in-hand. When we know someone will be loyal to us......we are on the road to true friendship.

I kinda have to agree with every1 and at the same time I understand what u r talking about..I was in the military and boy do they have some str8 out crazy females in the military world well maybe in the civilian world aswell..seen some strange things to include backstabbing, sneaking around, love triangles, and so much more that Desperate Housewives and the "L" word don't even come close..all it boils down to is find some good friends and there are good people out there..as for the relationship deal with lesbians or str8 females drama comes and goes as in any relationship both males and females have the potential to be a FEMALE DOG..but if the foundations of ur relationship r strong heck u got nothing to worry about..wether it be friendship or more for that matter..peace~

If you have a hard time trusting women in general, I would suggest counceling. If you have an even harder time trusting your girlfriend/partner, I would suggest couples counseling.

The idea that women are not trustworthy, unscrupulous, liars, secretive...etc is perpetuated by the male dominated world. Men have advocated this idea since pre-Biblical times. If you read the Bible you'll see how anti-female it actually is. Ever since Eve, in the Bible, women are seen as the evil doers of society. When in fact we are the caretakers, the mothers, the teachers, the one's who support and do all the "back stage" work.
If you have a hardtime seeing this, you need counceling.

I suppose it's the same as a straight relationship. If they're truly in love, no cheating will go on. But, I know some lesbians that are just all about sex and don't want a real relationship where they love on each other and talk about their feelings. Some lesbians just want straight up sex and others just want love like many straight people do.

I don't know. I think everyone has the ability to be a backstabber. The point of a relationship (queer or not) is to find someone you can trust and to prove it over the years. The reason I'm still with my girlie after four years is that she is the only person, male or female, to not screw me over in a horrendous way.

I don't think so. I don't have a hard time trusting my soon-to-be-wife at all. I don't see women as potential backstabbers... I think you need to find new friends if you can't trust yours. There are lots of wonderful, honest, trustworthy women out there. Of course, there are also some real bitches - I don't date them!

...i guess i'm in the minority since i have'nt expirienced that behavior,...my gf's have been very open and up-front with me in what they were looking for in a relationship, as i am to them as well,...

...i suppose there are grrrls with attitudes and "devilish behavior", i just tend to stay away from them...
