bio-chemical impulses, energy.
To me they're in a solid but also transparent almost liquid state.
They are very tangible and heavy and solid(they drive "me" crazy) but they are also transparent, not real. Coming and going on their own: solid while appearing: reality arises when they arise, vague when disappearing, reality dissolves when they disappear.
Kind of like tracing a finger as a line on the top of water: the trace can be seen but disappears right after, that quick!

metaphysical ....... even if we believe it is energy such as impulses, it does not have a physical state.
