My last period started on 11/22/06 and ended on 11/26/06..My husband and I had sex on 12/12/06. Could I get pregnant? I dont really know if my cycle is regular or not. I dont pay too much attention to it and I stopped taking bc about 2 months ago..I was only on it for maybe 2-3 months..Is it possible I could get pregnant?
Thanks!!

Since everyone ovulates differently (most commonly is about 7 to 10 days after start of period) it's difficult to say. Sperm is very resilient and can live for about 3 days. There are over the counter tests you can buy at drug stores that will help you determine when you ovulate. That should help you. As far as being pg wait about a week and buy a pregnancy kit and check. Since we are all different I wouldn't rule out the idea that you could. Just don't get your hopes up before you actually find out. Good Luck!

If you were on birth control at the time you had intercourse, you should know when your next menstruation is and most likely are not pregnant.

If not, depending on your cycle - usually ovulation takes place at least 1 to 2 weeks before your next period (time when you are most fertile)

But - anything is possible as the pill is only 99.9% accurate.
I had a cousin who was on birth control and got pregnant anyway so there is always that 1% chance that it is possible.

Lastly - when in doubt, go get a home pregnancy test.

It is possible the average ovulation is between the 10-20 days from the first day of your previous cycle. Your period started Nov 22, count ten days (dec 1) for 10 days is your greatest time to get pregnant. Goodluck to you and your husband.

yes i know after you have stopped the birthcontrol your more, more like to get pregnant quicker than anything. and a day or 2 after your period is always been the best time to get pregnant. or atleast that whats has been said to me. Good luck wait a month or so and take a test or see if your body is acting different then normal.

It's a myth that it takes 3 months for bc to get out of your system. My obgyn said they say that because it might just take that long for your cycle to be regular again. It is definitely possible you are pregnant.

Yes it is possible, but also beware of the fact that since you were on BC than you may not ovulate for a couple months after being off the pill. I would just wait and see if you start.

It's takes about 3 months for the birth control to get out of your system.

It's possible, but usually its about two weeks from the first day of your last period that you are most likely to get pregnant. If you are trying to get pregnant, I would suggest keeping track of your periods, it will help to determine when you are ovulating, also if/when you become pregnant, you last period will help to determine how far along you are.
