Try to see it from libs' point of view: for years they dominated media, but Rush was the beginning of the end of their dominance. Eighteen years after Rush started his national program, conservative radio has exploded. Now Hannity, Michael Medved, Dennis Prager, Laura Ingraham, etc. are all getting millions of listeners consistently. (I don't include Michael Savage who is a bitter, angry, ignoramus.) Now the liberal media, although powerful, just is not as strong as it used to be.
It's little wonder that Rush is targetted so much. He is paid millions to expose liberalism's faults, and libs simply can't stand the truth interfering with their agenda.

Most immediately, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
I also check things out on NPR, BBC, the Washington Post, and the local channel 11 nightly news.
If something sounds wonky, I try to find the original source, or as close as possible.
I sometimes watch the Daily Show and the Colbert report, when I am somewhere that has cable. However, I am smart enough to know that these shows are satirical comedy shows, not news shows. I am also smart enough to know that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are NOT reputable news sources.

I don't really trust any media outlets exclusively. You really can't trust any source to be 100% news, with no agenda, or opinion.
What I tend to do is base my opinion on fact. I wish everyone did. You hear righties make fun of "Jon Stewart" and you hear lefties holler about "Rush".
The Jon Stewart show is funny. It doesn't even pretend to be a real news broadcast. It calls itself "fake news"... Rush on the other hand doesn't mean to be funny... he just is.
Republicans and Democrats are all the same. That is the most funny thing in the world to me. They all think they are right. They have no intention of ever working together as the "American Party"

I watch Stewart for a laugh. I rarely see a story on that show that I haven't already heard about.
As for comments about Rush and Hannity, often it's way to obvious that some on this board get their information from talk radio. If there is a particular criticism against the democrats or liberals and it is being repeated in question after question, odds are the point of view reflected is in sync with what Rush and Sean and the rest are talking about.

I get my information from a variety of sources, mostly off the net. I watch Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Bilbo O'Liely and Hannity. I also listen to Ed Schultz who use to be a republican. I refuse to listen to that bloated gas bag Limbaugh. O'Liely is one of the biggest hypocrits on television and people like Hannity, Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Laura Ingraham are nothing but mouth pieces for Bush who slant things so far to the right its pathetic.

actually, most liberals take the Daily Show for what it is.. a sarcastic spin on things... it's called humor.. something you republicans don't understand i take it? As for where I get my news.. I do actually listen to Rush.. just because I feel it's important to know all sides of the argument.. no matter how skewed they are.. I also listen to NPR, I watch most major news stations (I rotate them) .. I read the local and national newspapers I have access to and I also watch a foreign news station .. so i'd say i'm pretty well informed on what an issue truly means.. can you say the same?

Liberals always are obsessed with Rush.
They really can't understand Rush, but they try to quote him.
Dozens of Democrat staffers are paid with our tax money to listen to Rush every day. Their Democrat Congressmen bosses want to know what's going on in Real America.
(All they hear is each others lies every day.)

I watch the daily show...and believe me, they aren't talknig about Rush or anybody else from fox news. You must not know very many liberals, if 'ALL' of them 'ALWAYS' say the same things, about the same people. Really lame question, but what did I expect...
