I use one of those foaming window cleaners that come in an aerosol can to get the smoke off of my car's windows. I have found that to work better than the regular spray bottle liquid versions.

Use a 000 (triple 0 rated) steel wool and some foaming cleaner such as Power Clean. Be sure to watch for these things;

1) Never use a cleaner with ammonia.

2) lightly use the steel wool as if you were wiping it with a paper towel, no harder. (we did this at the dealership all the time to clean residue)

3) Do not use a paper towel, use a terry towel or mirofiber to dry, prevents scratching.

50/50 rubbing alcohol and water or 50/50 white vinegar.water its cheap use ordinary news paper black and white print only to wipe it off at first you will think it will never dry but it will and it will be streak free and clean

ive been detailing for 20 + years and my customers brag on their windows
