I have that too. And for lots of things like dust, wool... I got tested by an allergist and he said I have nonallergic rhinitis which is usually mostly a sinus thing. But the main symptoms for me are itchy skin, usually just a creepy feeling.

The best treatment for it is too avoid dusty and dirty environments, and for me, fabrics that have lots of roughness where particles can get attached to.

Skimming through these pages may offer some help even though they are mostly concerned with nasal symptoms.

I couldn't really say. It's usually the sound of chalk that creeps most people out! I know that, for some reason, whenever I touch certain fabrics I feel a nasty shudder down my spine. I guess that it could relate to some unfavorable experience you had that had something to do with chalk. You may find this website useful: http://www.phobia-fear-release.com/phobia-4.html

Bad school memories?
Or panic attacks which is a condition...
Especially if you have that feeling regarding other innocent objects.
There is a short word for that, I don't remember it...
