+ In Truth it will never end until the last one of us is dead. We live it every day. It will last until there are none left to tell of the dishonor that the American people and the Liberal media did to their brave veterans who were largely drafted into service and fought and won every engagement honorably for their country and families to keep them free.

American ground troop involvement was pretty much over with at the end of 1971, but the war continued until April 30, 1975, with a short break in 1973 when the so-called peace accords were signed. It was a sham. The North Vietnamese never intended to quit fighting until they unified the country. They finally just rolled over the South Vietnamese army who were no match for the NVA without U.S. military support. Oddly enough it's looked at as a defeat of the U.S. Army, but the truth is the U.S. Army never lost a major battle with the VC or the NVA. Even the much televised TET offensive was a shocking defeat for the Viet Cong, although the media slanted it toward a VC/NVA victory. In effect, the VC were never able to mount a real offensive again. Sergeant, First Cavalry DIvision, Viet Nam 1969-1970.
