Can you trace back the waters path through the attic?? Water sometimes will travel over the lip of the roof line and follow a rafter till it decides to drip down. It sure would've helped if you had mentioned where the water is. I doubt the water is coming from your new bay window. I believe the shingles are not overhanging enough and causing the above mentioned problem. This can easily be remedied by putting 6" metal sheathing underneath the roofing tiles on the edge to extend them past the end of the rafters. You may also want to get in another contractor or home inspector in to find out where the problem lies. Then with evidence in hand get the roofer to fix it for free.

My mother-in-law is having the same problem right now and the water is dripping in 6 ft. from the edge of the roof. I've seen the water travel along the rafters for over 12'.

Sounds like the roof of your bay window is leaking!
I'd suspect the flashing where the overhang/roof of the bay window meets the house.

Could it be the wall between the roof and window leaking? You may have a slightly crooked window frame that could be causing a bad seal.

Odds are..it's the roof. Before you get a cardiac..Just start where the water damage starts...dig you way into the spot where the moisture is...avoiding electricity as much as possible.....And follow the path of the water. I may be wrong, though..so don't let either contractor leave without getting valid credentials.

This may turn out to be very ugly for him. I would guess he did NOT order secret information to be given to the press. But once he found out about it he should have taken the high ground and went after the leakers. He did not because he instinctively knew the leakers were trying to do him a big favor by trying to make him look manly. Hussein is trying to stay at arms' length to save himself politically. While disregarding the tremendous damage this is doing to our country's ability to gather intelligence and perform covert operations. This shows him to be the narcissistic, closet-socialist maggot I always took him for.

the best and only way to detect a water leak it to wait until it rains then get in the attic with a flashlight and search for wet or damp trusses
