Virtual memory should never be more than 1.5 times what your existant RAM total is. The reason for that is that the more you give your pc virtual memory beyond 1.5 times ram, the slower it will go - it's a balance. Your hard drive is the slowest memory that you have, and once your pc starts going there it is slowing down your speed because of the request and supply of information from the hard drive. There are two correct things to do here. Firstly I would increase your ram, that would stop your cpu going to the slowest memory it has for the information it needs. Secondly I would adjust the maximum and minimum virtual memory to exactly 1.5 times that of your new ram capacity.

have a good one

Virtual memory is the capacity of the hard disk that the computer use to support RAM. To adjust it , right click on My Computer>Advance> in the Performance box, click Setting>Advance and adjust the Virtual Memory . Good luck

Virtual memory is space on your hard drive that is emulating your physical memory (RAM). If you are running dangerously low on hard drive space, you will get this message. Free up some room on your hard drive by deleting files and defragmenting. You might also want to buy a larger hard drive.
