I don't know that he has any scientific qualifications. He just has a personal dedication to the cause, and the fame and money to spread the message to others. How you feel about it depends on how you feel in general about entertainers who support an agenda unrelated to their art form.

I don't know if he is qualified but, I am very happy that he is working for the cause, he has the fame and the money to do something about it, many look up to him and hopefully all of those people will listen before it is too late. I think it is awesome that he is helping.
