Unfortunately they aren't rare. The thing is, different colored eyes is usually a result of long inbreeding- most huskies are to a point. We had a female with the top half of her eyes blue and the bottom half brown on one side- the other was blue.

I owned a husky and she had dark eyes. Some have blue eyes. But I have seen several huskies with one of each. They aren't as rare as you might think.

They are not rare. You will just have to look for an older dog. Puppies who are going to have two different eye don't always look the same when they are young. Best of luck, huskies, mals, and the other nordic breeds are wonderful companions in the right family.

. Eyes almond shaped, moderately spaced and set a trifle obliquely. Eyes may be brown or blue in color; one of each or parti-colored are acceptable. they are pretty common

i think less rare than a human one blue eye one brown eye. know only one. he's really handsome :D

they are unusual but not rare.I'm a veterinarian and see them in my practice 3-5 times per year.
