I have two questions. While having my period i got this feeling i could be pregnant, so i took two tests in a span of about 3 days about 2 months after having sex. They both came up negative. I took another test a couple weeks after, negative again. I used ept home pregnancy test. But since i am having periods still (which come every 35-42 days as always) i was wondering if the reason people have periods while pregnant is because the hormone isnt detected yet. I need some advice thanks.

Your not pregnant. If your period is coming like it always does with the same flow for just as long and is the same color. you are not pregnant. stop stressing yourself over nothing.

You are not pregnant.

See a doctor to get yourself convinced, otherwise you will end up with a phsycological condition known as 'false pregnancy', where your desire and belief that you are pregnant alters your hormones and brain chemicals in such a way that your body starts acting as though it is pregnant. Even to the point of your stomach swelling and lactating.

A doctor will do blood work, and if need be, an ultrasound to prove to you that you are not pregnant.

Some people do have periods during pregnancy, I don't know the exact reason.Tests give false negatives not false positives. But if you really want to know why don't you just go to a doctor and have them do a test. Theres will be much more accurate.

If it's the regular flow and the same time you aren't pregnant. Yes, there is a myth that you can actually have a "period" and be pregnant. It's not an actual period. If you are clotting, bleeding heavily, having cramps and discomfort you aren't pregnant. It's just your period.
Believe me. Some woman think you can have your period. But it isn't true.

your body knows when you're pregnant and your periods just automatically stop. if you've taken pregnancy tests over a period of time and they're all negative I'd say that this is phantom pregnancy or its something more so i think you should consult your doctor.

Having a period means you aren't pregnant. Menses is the uterine lining being flushed out and if you are pregnant this can't happen (if it does it is called a miscarriage).

I doubt you are pregnant.
