it is absolutely false. When you graph this into the cartesian coordinate system, you will see very clearly that it has no amplitude. Amplitude is one of the property of sine and cosine.

false. the number in front of the trig function is usually the amplitutde (if its neg, just change it to positive) however this is only true for sine and cosine. Tangent is a bit weird. graph it, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

It depends on your limits. The tangent can go undefined (infinity) at the proper value for x.
