It's "Starve a fever, feed a cold". You starve the fever because usually a fever will make your stomach upset and you feed a cold because we dont usually want to eat when our noses are stuffed up. Typically, one doesn't run a fever w/ a cold. You may very well have the flu, honey. Get some rest and feel better soon.

yeah, good question! why would I starve a cold, i'm never hungry anyways while blowing, sneezing and coughing. what happened to the chicken soup theory? and as far as the fever goes, why would I feed it?
FYI, just getting over a cold so know what I'm talking about.

the main reason people catch colds is because they love warm houses and hate garlik.
This is what I say when people ask me why I never catch a cold, even when everyone around me has it. reverse the above and you have my secret, include vitamin c in the mix
