Pakistan and China are already working on a sophisticated aerospace project. And both have nukes. What if both trade in nuclear technology.

What if Russia gives nuclear technology to the Iranians? Don't know about Iran's current nuke program :S

Russia scientist that have been unemployed from the cold war are already helping the Iranians with nuclear capability. Same reason why India and Pakistan have nukes. As for China you can thank the last American president for giving them nuclear capability.

If you mean who can build the biggest weapons like the cold war was then that too has been going on for a while. This is why we have spies placed in alot of other goverments all over the world, to keep up with the Jones. We are always detecting double agents in the CIA here in America.

Irans current nuke program is still not ready some believe. This is because it takes a while to enrich the uranium(basicly takes time). Some believe Isreal(the only country in the middle east with nukes) would be the first to attack Iran. This however was said before they went to war with Hezbollah and Hamas. So now that they are tied down with them two I don't know who will take care of Iran. But someone will have too because Iran will be the biggest nuclear arms dealer in the world. They will not hesitate to sell enriched uranium to Islamic terrorists. The Allies are currently tied down in Iraq and Afganistan to do anything. So that said there is really nothing stoping them.

Us is fooling India and giving arms to Pakistan.
China, Iran,Pakistan and North Korea are allies in nuclear proliferation. USA knows this that is why they signed the nuclear bill.

Hypothetical situations cause stress over issues that have (many times) little probability of coming true.. and are therefor a waste of thought... as for will it cause an arms race? if it did the US wouldn't be involved.. or I guess a better assessment would be that we are so far ahead that we could just hit the cruise control because it's going to be a long time till people catch up.
