It is safe but in the later months deep penetration is not good and could harm the baby.

It is completely safe unless doctor has said otherwise or if this is a high risk pregnancy. There isn't really anything that needs to be changed. Just do what is comfortable. If you feel any pain or discomfort, try something different. If it continues, then I would say stop and consult with doctor.
You can have sex all the way up until the end of pregnancy. In fact, when the mother is ready to give birth...sex can help get it going.
Just be aware of your feelings and your body. Follow your instincts and be open with your partner.
Good luck and HAVE FUN!! Congrats!

Sometimes, sex can bring on labor, so it isn't advised after the 8th month. Also, since orgasms created muscle contractions, it isn't advised during the first trimester. That being said, we did it from beginning to end except when there was some spotting or other problems.

I remember this first time I spotted and went to triage. After being checked out the doctor said there shouldn't be any intercourse for six weeks. He turned to my husband and told him that it was a short time and then left. My husband looked at me with surprise and said, "Don't tell me! Tell her!" (I held out as long as I could but I don't think I made it all the way to the sixth week.lol)

Yes, very safe right up until your water breaks!

Precautions? Just leave the Kama Sutra in the drawer and do what feels comfortable.

Yes of course. Even until the due date if she feels. I just had a baby and my gyn told us during my last weeks that semen thins out the layer holding the baby so to get the baby here during the last few weeks they recommend much sex. If she wants it. And yall better get it in now b4 the six week hiatus after birth and while she still has time to rest afterwards.:)

It is safe to have sex while you are pregnant unless there are complications with you pregnancy. Don't be surprised if you bleed slightly afterward, I did through my pregnancy. It is nothing serious you ate just more sensitive down there and the veins are larger because they are carrying more blood to that area of the body. Have Fun!

I read it in some book somewhere that during the first few months of pregnancy, there's not much harm in having sex.
in fact, it stated that it would be more fun.

however, i'd advice not to after u reach 6 or 7 months. might get a lil dangerous.

A lot of times doctors recommend to have sex during the later stages of pregnancy it helps to induce labor. I have never heard of risks relating to it. Most couples do continue to be sexually active during a pregnancy. But the best person to ask would be your doctor.

Unless your doctor says no or it hurts, it's fine. Use positions that won't put too much pressure on the mom's belly, and if she is in any pain or discomfort, stop. I had sex up through the last month or so, when it got painful for me, and all three of mine were fine.
