I'm 13 and in middle school. In my 7th grade year I loved it. I had best friends til the end it seemed. We split up for the summer. When we all came together in our 8th grade year we stopped hanging out. We don't sit at the same lunch table anymore. We don't hang out at the b-ball anymore. I have other friends but i hate to say she irreplaceble!

i lost my best fren the same way...... i was like going mad without her by my side and i get angry and jealous when i see her talking and being close to others.... but i dont know how i did it, i just started talking to others hoping to, u know, spite her but i ended up becoming great friends with this other girl... In the world, u can have many best frenz. not necessary that one and only one.. all u need to do is just to spread ur arms a lil bit and expand your circle of frenz... U'll never know who will come across ur paths.. I m sure u guys r still frenz, but just do not hang ard with each other much... at tat age, its kinda hard to know who's frenz and who's not anyway.... it all comes along with time and age.. dont worry too much abt it.. and remember, ur life does not revolve ard that person just because she's ur 'best fren' ok?

u don't lose your best friend just because u do not sit at the same lunch table anymore. this is a great period of your life. both of u are having new experiences. give each other time to do new stuff, learn new things. u may find that u can come together again sometime later and still are very comfortable with each other despite a 'separation'. this is friendship. I have friends whom I do not see or write to but when I need them I know they are there for me.

She's what you call a friend for a season.

Throughout your life you will have friends for a reason, friends for a season and friends for life.

The ones you have for a reason are usually those you share something in common with - hobbyists, etc. The friends for a season are those who come and go in your life, there will be many of those. And the friends for life are those you carry with you and are very rare and precious.

Can't you just talk to her and ask her why she's behaving like that?

Why don't you sit to the same table as she does?
