I cut my computer on, they say you can't do that you're not online. They ask me a question about ISP which I know nothing about. I have a Yahoo email address? Also, I need to know how to d/c from The Weather Channel Desktop. They can't take NO for an answer.

It's sad that the weather channel and others distribute spyware/malware/badware whatever you'd like to call it, right out in the open like that. They are SO wrong.

Anyway, about your connectivity problems. Call your internet Service Provider (ISP). You pay them big money to help with the problem (I think) your describing. It's not your fault your a noobie, but you weren't able to be specific enough ablout your problem to help. (not your fault).

After you do get back online, download and install some special software called "Spybot - Search and Destroy". It sounds like you have some soyware runnng on your computer that'll help that.

As for theweather desktop thingee, did you start with uninstalling it ?
To unisinstall programs, click yor start button, go to settings, control panel, then "add or remove programs" It'll open up an applet with a list of all the properly installed software on your compute and give you the opportunity to remove it (uninstall) from your computer.
