If it's a con they are going to want money from you before you get anything in return. If you send some then they will want more. Use the better business bureau and see if there is a file on them. E mail the "agency" and ask for a list of clents who have used the service that you can get references from. Ask for their mailing addresses and not Email addresses. If they are legit they will provide you that information. Use the golden rule of scammer Identification: If this is too good to be true it probably isn't. Above all, send no money to them until they provide you with something solidly reassuring.

If you are in the US look them up in hate Better Business Bureau. It is free. It will at least tell you if it is a legitimate business, if they have been in business for years the chances are pretty good they are not running a scam. Also, do a search on the name, people often post in forums about scams.
