I have to make a poetry book for my english class. It HAS to be by a published author. Nothing very long either. Thanks for the help!

You can probably Google some good ones. One that comes to mind instantly that meets your requirement of not too long is:

Tyger by William Blake

For your book, you could also make up a page of tongue twisters--heavy in alliteration:

She sells sea shells
Peter piper picked a peck...

Also, excerpts from works like Beowulf have tons of alliteration.

Many years ago when I was at school I had to learn as many words and their respective meaning from the Oxford Dictionary and I still remember Alliteration..

An Austrian army awfully arrayed,
Badly by battery besieged Belgrave.
